Holst Garn Supersoft

Holst Garn Supersoft is high quality and classic yarn without Superwash treatment, made from 100% pure wool with a blend of 50% merino and 50% shetland wool. The yarn used to make this ball comes from non-mulesing sheep from New Zealand and Australia, which means that it is acquired in a responsible manner towards animals.

This wool is ideal for who is looking for a natural and rustic fiber to create impressive textures. It is really pleasant to touch and this is a perfect option to knit or crochet. Supersoft is available in a wide range of beautiful colors. You will find your favorite !

Each ball has 50 grams and 287 meters, making it a cost-effective option for larger projects. You can knit with 1 thread only or melting 2 threads. It is recommended to knit with 3-3,5 mm needles for a tension around 25 stitches per 10 cm, if you work with 1 thread. If a looser tension is preferred, you can use 4-4,5 mm needles with 2 threads to get around 16 stitches per 10 cm.

Despite not having a Superwash treatment, this fiber can be machine washed with a wool program in cold water. It is important to notice that Holst Garn Supersoft is delivered without a previous wash and may have a small amount of oil and an excess of color. These will disappear with the first wash and the wool will become softer.

You should be noted that being a pure wool, it is not the softest in existence but one of the softest in its range.
