Katia Jarapa presents a flat ribbon combining small fringes achieve an original texture. It is ideal for making home decorations, such as baskets or rugs. Excellent to make bags!
This yarn is inspired by the jarapas, a fabric created to work carpets, made from the recycling of rags that get a mixture of very original textures. This yarn resembles the characteristics of this type of fabric and presents a rustic touch full of color.
The ribbon presents an ecru color and is surrounded by a fine thread with micro strips of fabric in different colors. Discover this unique texture!

- 42% polyester
- 40% polyamide
- 18% viscose
Which are the features of this yarn?
- Each ball has 100 grams and 70 meters.
- Its thickness is ideal to work with the 7 – 8mm knitting needles or with the 8 – 9mm crochet hook.
- Mount 10 stitches and do 14 rows to knit a 10 x 10 cm gauge.
- Washable at up to 30ºC with the wool spin cycle.
- Do not tumble dry.
- Iron at up to 110ºC.
