Katia Soffiato from the Concept collection is a thick yarn with a roving thread especially designed for knitting sweaters or coats.
This yarn is made of 1 ply barely twisted which makes it look like a roving wool. Its fibers combined result in a big and fluffy yarn. You need to be careful while knitting it and keep its subtle twisting to avoid breaking its fibers.
The Soffiato yarn has a very soft touch thanks to its superfine alpaca fibers.
Katia Soffiato is made of:
- 70% superfine alpaca
- 30% polyamide
This fiber combination results in a pleasant yarn perfect to knit warm garments to protect you from the cold of winter.
The alpaca fibers will isolate you from cold temperatures and keep you warm. Thanks to the polyamide you will find it very easy to work with.
Which are the features of this yarn?
- Each ball has 100 grams and 80 meters.
- Its thickness is perfect to knit with the 8 – 9 mm knitting needles or with the 9 – 10 mm crochet hooks.
- Mount 10 stitches and do 14 rows to knit a 10 x 10 cm gauge.
- Handwash recommended.
- Do not tumble dry.
- Iron at low temperature.
