Malabrigo presents Dos Tierras, a ball available in different colours: plain, marbled, and a mixture of them. It has an original design and comes in a skein. With this yarn, you will be able to knit warm, light garments for autumn and winter thanks to the combination of natural fibres that keep your body temperature in the coldest days.

It is a hand-dyed yarn, so you need to think about the number of balls you need, since this yarn only has 5 skein per lot. If you are going to mix several lots, you can alternate 2 balls at the same time by doing some laps with each lot.

Malabrigo Dos Tierras is made of:

• 50% Merino wool from Uruguay
• 50% Baby Alpaca from Peru

As its name implies, this yarn has been created from the combination of several natural fibres from two different countries. Both wool and Alpaca baby stand out by its excellent quality, since they are natural fibres that come from Merino sheep from Uruguay and the first shorn of Peruvian Alpacas, what makes it even more precious and exceptional.

The combination of both fibres makes a warm, fluffy ball that is very soft to the touch thanks to baby Alpaca fibres. It is perfect on any kind of skins!

Its 4-ply thread is twisted around itself and is DK thick, a very popular thickness that will allow you to knit warm, light garments and accessories for the whole family, such as pullovers, cardigans, accessories, etc.

Which are the features of this yarn?

• Each ball weighs 100 grams and has 193 meters.
• Its thickness is perfect to knit with 3.75 mm or 4 mm knitting needles or 5.5 mm or 6.5 mm crochet hooks.
• Mount 20 stitches and do 22 laps to knit a 10 x 10 cm square.
• Do not wash in the washing machine.
• Do not tumble dry.
• Handwash with cold water.
• Dry flat.
