Mondial Basic Lux is a fresh and light thread made of merecerized cotton. With this spring/summer yarn, you can knit all kind of clothes and complements both for adults and kids.
It is available in a wide range of plate and summer colours that can be combined easily.
Mondial has also launched a thin range of Basic Lux called Basic Lux Fine.
You can knit blouses, sarongs, cardigans, shawls and more with this thread.

- 100% Mercerized cotton
The Mondial Basic Lux is made by highly qualified, soft and fresh cotton.
In addition, its thread is twisted on itself resulting in a compacted and lint-free thread.
You should know that Mondial Basic Lux…
- Each ball has 50 grams and 120 metres.
- Its thickness is perfect to knit with the 3-4 knitting needles.
- Mount 22 stitches and do 26 laps to knit a 10 x 10 cm square.
- You can wash this yarn in the washing machine up to 40ºC.
- Don’t use the dryer. We recommend you to dry it horizontally
- It can be ironned at a medium temperature (up to 130ºC).
Amount of grams needed to knit pulls with Mondial Basic Lux:
- To knit a kid pull size 10 years you will need 250-300 grams.
- To knit a women pull size 42 you will need 400-450 grams.
- To knit a men pull size 48 you will need 550-600 grams.
