Mondial Basic Lux Fine

Mondial Basic Lux Fine isa mercerised yarn which is made of high quality fibres of Egyptian mako cotton. It is available in different plain colours you can combine to create original colour combinations.

Basic Lux Fine is the thin version of Basic Lux yarn so that you can use thinner knitting needles or crochet hooks.

This is a yarn for spring/summer season and it is perfect to make all kinds of handicrafts, accessories and projects for the warmest months of the year.

Mondial Basic Lux Fine composition:

• 100% Egyptian mako cotton

Egyptian cotton is a high-quality yarn treated with a mercerization process. Thanks to this treatment, Basic Lux Fine is a combed yarn with a polished thread.

Mondial Basic Lux Fine characteristics:

• Each ball contains 165 metres and 50 grammes approximately.
• Recommended knitting needles and crochet hooks size: 2.50 – 3 mm.
• Tension square using knitting needles or crochet hooks size 2.50 mm:10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 in), 31 stitches x 41 rows.
• Machine wash at 40ºC maximum.
• Do not tumble dry. Flat drying recommended.
• It can be ironed at 130ºC approximately.

Grammes of Basic Lux Fine from Mondial needed for:

• A long-sleeved pull for children, size 10 years, you will need 250-300 grammes (5/6 balls) approximately.
• A long-sleeved pull for women, size 42, you will need 350-400 grammes (7/8 balls) approximately.
• A long-sleeved pull for men, size 48, 450-500 grammes (9/10 balls) approximately.
