Mondial Nilo 8 is a 100-gram perle-type yarn presenting a size 8, perfect to knit or crochet all those garments and accessories you are thinking of! Its thread is gently twisted on itself and it is characterized by its softness.

• 100% Egyptian mercerized cotton

This type of cotton is fresh for the summer and pleasant for winter, so you can use it to knit garments for babies for all seasons.

Thanks to its mercerized features, we get a more resistant cotton presenting a very original and shiny finish.

Which are the features of this yarn?

• Each ball has 100 grams and around 470 meters.
• Its thickness is perfect to work with the 2 – 2,5 mm knitting needles.
• Mount 33 stitches and do 44 rows to knit a 10 x 10 cm gauge.
• Washable at up to 30ºC.
• Do not tumble dry, dry flat recommended.
• Iron at up to 150ºC.

• To knit a sweater for children size 10 years you will need around 150-200 grams (2 balls).
• To knit a sweater for women size 38 you will need around 250-300 grams (2-3 balls).
