Mondial Scacco Matto

Mondial Scacco Matto is a very special yarn presenting a ribbon design with a unique texture made with a loom. This yarn is made up of several colorful threads providing a beautiful and flashy touch resembling a kaleidoscope. 

The ribbon is very thin and suitable to knit projects for spring and summer. Ideal to make summer tops, colorful dresses, blouses, jackets, vests, and even bags. Suitable for knitting or crochet.

• 35% cotton
• 30% viscose
• 25% acrylic microfiber
• 10% polyamide microfiber

Which are the features of this yarn?

• Each ball has 50 grams and 145 meters.
• Its thickness is perfect to work with the 6 – 7 mm knitting needles or with the 5 – 6 mm crochet hook.
• Mount 15 stitches and do 22 rows to knit a 10 x 10 cm gauge.
• Washable at up to 40ºC.
• Do not iron.
• Do not tumble dry.

• To knit a sweater for women size 38 you will need around 9 - 10 balls. 
• To knit a sweater for men size 42 you will need around 11 - 12 balls. 
• To knit a sweater for children size 10 you will need around 7 - 8 balls.
