Noro Asaginu is a ribbon-type yarn combining French linen with Japanese paper well-known as washi. This Japanese paper is made up from plants.
Both linen and washi have properties making the yarn soft, resistant and capable of creating a vapor barrier. This way the skin can breathe and will let you feel comfortable in hotter climates. Excellent for knitting spring or summer garments such as dresses or tops.
This yarn presents a texture similar to the raffia making it ideal to knit bags, hats, and other resistant projects.
Noro Asaginu is made of:
- 69% linen
- 30% Japanese paper (washi)
- 1% polyamide
Which are the features of this yarn?
- Each ball has 40 grams and 140 meters.
- Its thickness is perfect to work with the 4 – 4.5 mm knitting needles or crochet hook.
- Mount 16 – 18 stitches to knit a 10 cm wide gauge.
- Do not wash by machine.
- Recommended to wash with a wet cloth.
- Do not tumble dry.
- Dry flat away from the sun.
