Regia Alpaca Soft

Regia Alpaca Soft is a warm, comfortable, resistant yarn made of a mixture of wool, polyamide and alpaca fibres.It can be washed in the washing machine up to 30ºC.

Alpaca Soft is a model from the Premium collection of Schachenmayr by Regia, which also includes models such as Merino Yak or Silk.

It’s a perfect yarn for knitting clothes, such as winter sweaters, scarves, caps, lace shawls or with different stitches, home accessories, etc.

Alpaca Soft has a wide range of models and autumn colours, such as ecru colour, brown, maroon, blue that you can combine to create your own mixtures of colours.

Its marbled strand hasn’t only solid colours, but its strand provides different shades of the same colour, creating a denim or gradient effect.

Regia is made of:

• 62% wool
• 23% polyamide
• 15% alpaca

The mixture of fibres is perfect for a warm, soft and quilted wool that offers a melange finish.

Its lightness and nice touch will make it a very comfortable fabric to wear.

You should know that Alpaca Soft …

• Each ball has 100 grams and 310 metres.
• Its thickness is perfect to knit with the 2.5 – 3.5 mm knitting needles or crochet hooks.
• Mount 24 stitches and do 32 laps to knit a 10 x 10 cm square.
• It can be washed in the washing machine up to 30ºC
• Do not use the dryer.
• It can’t be ironed.

Amount of balls needed to…

•           To knit a pair of socks size 42, you will need 100 gr = 1 ball approx.
•           To knit a sweater size M, you will need 400 gr = 4 balls approx.
