Regia Merino Yak

Regia Merino Yak is a fine yarn, composed of 4 strands twisted between them, creating a unique thin, fluffy, nice strand.

One of the main characteristics of this wool is its small percentage of yak fibres, a new fabric included in Merino Yak. As a result, it creates a melange or a denim effect when is combined with merino wool and polyamide fibres.

Merino Yak is a model from the Premium collection, which also includes models such as Regia Silk or Regia Alpaca Soft.

Discover its wide variety of colours and combine its different models to create your own autumn/winter projects, such as sweaters, caps, scarves, etc.

Regia is made of:

• 58% wool
• 28% polyamide
• 14% yak wool

This yarn is mostly composed of wool fibres, which make Merino Yak a warm fabric, perfect for winter clothes.

You should know that Merino Yak…

• Each ball has 100 grams and 400 metres.
• Its thickness is perfect to knit with the 2 – 3 mm knitting needles or crochet hooks.
• Mount 30 stitches and do 42 laps to knit a 10 x 10 cm square.
• It can be washed in the washing machine up to 30ºC
• Do not use the dryer.
• It can be ironned at a low temperature, up to 110ºC.

Amount of balls needed to…

•           To knit a pair of socks size 46, you will need 1 ball.
•           To knit a sweater size M, you will need 500 gr.
