Rowan Alpaca Classic

Rowan Alpaca Classic is a very sweet, soft, warm and fluffy yarn available in different plain shades that vary slightly in some points of the ball.

In spite of being a yarn made by alpaca and cotton fibres, it is a very thin and its strand is made up of thin strands forming a tubular mesh.

In addition, it is a fluffy yarn with a very nice touch, perfect to knit autumn/winter garments like pulls, blouses, shawls, waistcoats, cardigans... and other personalised garments.

Rowan Alpaca Classic is made of:

• 57% Alpaca
• 43% Cotton

Alpaca fibres are characterised by their great thermal properties, their softness and the resistance they provide to the fabric to make it more durable. Moreover, as its fibres are so fine, the strand will also be fine but more resistant and warmer than sheep's wool. 

Cotton, on the other hand, is a very popular natural fibre that is highly absorbent, as it can absorb up to 27 times its weight in water.

Care reommendations:

• Each ball has 25 grams and 120 meters.
• Its thickness is recommended to work with the 3.75 mm knitting needles.
• Mount 23 stitches and do 31 rows to knit a 10 x 10 cm gauge.
• Not suitable for machine washing. Hand wash is recommended.
• Do not iron or tumble dry.
• It is recommended to dry it horizontally without hanging.
