Rowan introduces Felted Tweed Colour a yarn combining wool, alpaca, and viscose, three excellent high-quality fibers ideal to knit garments and accessories for winter. You can knit or crochet this yarn thanks to its twisted thread since it is suitable to make difficult stitches.
All along its thread you will find small colorful specks creating an original marbled effect. This yarn is available in gradient colors inspired in different landscapes: the moorland, the sunset with its pink and violet clouds, wide green meadows, and more. Discover all the shades!
Rowan Felted Tweed Colour:
- 50% wool
- 25% alpaca
- 25% viscose
The wool and alpaca are two natural fibers obtained from the shearing of sheep and alpacas. These materials are characterized by its high quality and natural origin, and thanks to its thermal properties you will be warm during the coldest days of winter.
The viscose is a fiber providing a hanging effect and a subtle shiny touch to your projects.
Which are the features of this yarn?
- Each ball has 50 grams and around 175 meters.
- Its thickness is perfect to work with the 3,5 – 4 mm knitting needles.
- Mount 22-24 stitches and do 30-32 rows to knit a 10 x 10 cm gauge.
- Washable with cold water and with products without bleach.
- Do not tumble dry.
- Dry flat recommended away from the sun.
- Iron at up to 110ºC.
