Rowan Fine Lace

Rowan Fine Lace is a yarn which consists of two thin threads twisted together. You can use it to knit garments, accessories or handicrafts.

Besides being a comfortable and soft yarn, it is available in different autumnal colours.

If you want to create thicker projects, recommended knitting needles size is 2 mm. However, if you prefer to make finer creations you should use larger needles (recommended size is 4 mm) in order to obtain openwork garments.

This wool for the autumn/winter season is very versatile. Use it to create snoods, scarves, pulls, cardigans and all kinds of projects to keep you warm.

Fine Lace from Rowan composition:

• 80% alpaca
• 20% merino wool

On the one hand, alpaca is a fine, resistant and warm fibre. On the other hand, the merino wool makes this yarn soft, comfortable and fluffy.

It won’t irritate your skin, that is why it is perfect for sensitive skins.

Fine Lace characteristics:

• Each ball contains 50 grammes and 400 metres approximately.
• Recommended knitting needles size: 2 - 4 mm.
• Tension square: 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 in) using 4 mm knitting needles, 20 stitches x 33 rows.
• Tension square: 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 in) using 2 mm knitting needles, 39 stitches x 54 rows (to obtain a thicker project).
• Hand wash only, do not machine wash.
• Do not tumble dry.
• It can be ironed at a moderate temperature.
