Rowan Handknit Cotton

Rowan Handknit Cotton is a yarn for the spring/summer season which consists of 4 threads made of cotton.

This yarn is perfect to knit comfortable projects such as cardigans, snoods, blouses and sweaters.

Moreover, you can create different combinations of colours to make original garments or you can also create projects in plain colours.

Handknit Cotton from Rowan composition:

• 100% cotton

This yarn is made of combed cotton fibres which make it very soft. It is perfect for well-defined projects.

Handknit Cotton characteristics:

• Each ball contains 50 grammes and 85 metres approximately.
• Recommended knitting needles size: 4 – 4.50 mm.
• Tension square: 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 in), 19-20 stitches x 28 rows.
• Machine wash at 40ºC maximum. Do not tumble dry.
• It can be ironed at a moderate temperature.

Grammes of Handknit Cotton needed to create:

• A scarf, you will need 250 grammes (5 balls) approximately.
• A pair of socks, you will need 150 grammes (3 balls) approximately.
• A hat, you will need 150 grammes (3 balls) approximately.
• A half-sleeved t-shirt for baby, you will need 250 grammes (5 balls) approximately.
• A long-sleeved pull for women, medium size, you will need 750 grammes (15 balls) approximately.
