Scheepjes Skies Light

Scheepjes Skies Light are denim skeins available in blue and green tones inspired by nature colours.

You’ll find a colour range from a blue tone that will remind you the sky on a sunny summer day to the blue tone of a dark night. There are also two green tones inspired by the countryside, the trees and the leaves. Choose your favourite shade and create spring/summer garments!

Its colours are dyed with indigo dyes, which offer a hand-dyed yarn effect.

Scheepjes Skies Light is made of:

• 100% Cotton

These skeins are nice, soft and breathable, which is perfect to create garments for the whole family. It’s also perfect to be in contact with the most sensitive skins since it does not sting or irritate.

You should know that Scheepjes Skies Light…

• Each skein has 100 grams and 340 metres.
• Its fingering thickness is perfect to knit with the 3 mm knitting needles or crochet hooks.
• Mount 32 stitches and do 24 laps to knit a 10 x 10 cm square.
• We recommend you to wash it by hand.
• It can be ironed at a high temperature (110ºC).
• Do not use the dryer. We recommend you to dry it horizontally without hanging out.

To knit a long sleeve sweater…

• Size 2 years, you will need to use 1 ball approx.
• Size 6 years, you will need to use 2 balls approx.
• Size 42, you will need to use 3 balls.

Light is the thinnest range of Scheepjes Skies and its fingering thickness is perfect to knit with the 3 mm knitting needles or crochet hooks. If you want to knit with the same thread, but a thicker one, you can use Scheepjes Skies Heavy, the same thread used with the 6mm knitting needles.
