DMC Hollie

DMC Hollie is the perfect yarn to create light and warm clothes for your baby. Its thin and soft fiber make this yarn perfect for the little ones but you can also use it for knitting clothes, accessories and complements for adults.

The DMC Hollie yarn is made by:

• 75% Merino Extrafine
• 20% silk
• 5% Cashmere

The merino extrefine fiber is a thin fiber with a soft and sweet touch that will avoid itching and irritation on your skin, so that it is especially designed for the most sensitive skins. This fiber provides a greater thermal capacity, an excellent perspiration and a sweet touch.

The soft and light silk fiber gives a little sheen on your clothes. You will be able to knit wonderful creations for your baby or for you.

The cashmere fiber is a good thermal insulation and it also has a sweet, silky and light touch.

The whole of these fibers offer a highly qualified yarn both in texture and touch.

This mixture provides an hypoallergenic yarn that will avoid itching and irritation as well as allergies on your skin.

You should know that Hollie of DMC…

• Each ball has 50 grams and 116 metres.

• Its thickness is perfect to knit with the 4 mm knitting needles or crochet hooks.
• To knit a long sleeve pull size 42 you will need 11 balls.
• Mount 22 stitches and do 28 laps to knit a 10 x 10 cm square.
• You can wash this yarn in the washing machine up to 30ºC.
• It cannot be ironned.
• Do not use the dryer.
• We recommend you to dry it horizontally.
• We recommend you to separate dark colours from clear ones when washing.

The DMC Hollie yarn has the OEKO-TEX® standard 100 certificate that guarantees your creations will be free of hazardous substances that could be harmful for customers.
