The yarn Katia Basic Merino is made by: 

• 52% Merino Superwash
• 48% Acrylic

Its high natural fibres content gives a soft, sweet and convenience yarn, perfect for sensitive and delicate skins. 

The Superwash treatment allows you to wash it in the washing machine without any problem. Despite being a natural fibre yarn, you can wash your sewing pieces made with this yarn in the machine. That is a big advantage if you knit clothes for children. 

You should know that Katia Basic Merino...

• Each ball has 50 grams and 120 metres. 
• its thickness is perfect to knit with the 3½ - 4 mm knitting needles. 
• To knit a long sleeves pull size 42, you will need 8 balls. 
• To make a 10 x 10 cm square, mount 22 stitches and work 29 laps. 
• You can wash it in the washing machine at 30ºC maximum and using the wool program. It is also suitable for dry-clean. 
• It can be ironed and dry in the machine without problems. 

It is available in 47 different colours.
