Katia Cotton-Yak

Cotton-Yak from Katia Yarns is a Concept by Katia yarn. This yarn offers a super soft and nice touch due to the mixture of cotton, wool and yak.

We recommend this yarn for every season, it does not matter if it is spring, summer, autumn or winter. The strand finish is refined and it has long hair due to the wool and the yak fibre, an alternative to the cashmere.

The yarn Katia Cotton-Yak is made by:

• 60% Cotton
• 30% Wool
• 10% Yak

The mixture of this fibres gives a fresh and at the same time warm yarn. Its components are a really good insulate regulators so you will be fresh in warm days and it will maintain your body temperature in cold days.

Due to the cotton, your cloths will be fresh and thanks to the yak fibre, you will have a really soft and resistant cloth.

You should know that Cotton-Yak from Katia…

• Each ball has 50 grams and 130 metres.
• We recommend you to knit with 3½ - 4 mm needles and 2½ - 3 mm crochet hooks.
• You will just need 8 balls to knit a long sleeves pull size 42.
• Mount 22 stitches and do 28 laps to knit a 10 x 10 cm square.
• This yarn is suitable to wash it in the machine at 30ºC.
• You can iron it.
• We do not recommend you to dry it in the dryer, but horizontally.

This special yarn is available in a big variety of colour, so you can choose your favourite to knit all your projects.
