Katia Peques

Peques by Katia yarns is a special yarn to knit clothes and accessories for babies and newborns.

These balls are made by a very thin and delicate yarn like babies's skins. So it is ideal to knit clothes like bootees, bodies, bonnets, dresses and jackets.

It is available in a large variety of colours, most of them are pastel colours that will suit the babies perfectly.

You should know that Katia Peques...

• Each ball has 50 grams and 232 metres.
• We advise you to use the 2½ - 3 mm knitting needles.
• To make a 10 x 10 cm square, using  the 3 mm knitting needles, you need mount 26 stitches and 36 laps.
• It can be washed in the washing machine at 40ºC.
• It can be ironed at 110ºC maximum.

To nit a pull for a newborn you only need one ball. To make it in sizes from 3 months to 18 months, you need 2. For clothes size 24, you need 3 balls.

It is a thin yarn, because of it your weaves will be dense. This yarn will provide warmth and well-being to your kids.

If you want to give an intense touch to your sewing pieces combine it with Katia Peques Plus, the same yarn but in speckled tones.
