Bio Lana by Mondial is an organic yarn completely made by natural fibres, so it has unique and special characteristics. Its rustic appearance and its warm touch give natural and nice clothes to wear in the coldest winter days.

This yarn is certified, that means that it is a natural and high quality yarn. It has the certificates ICEA (Istituto Certificazione Etica e Ambientale), GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) and OEKO TEX STANDARD 100.

Its is certified by a completely natural yarn, it comes from sheeps that eat natural grace, without fertilising or pesticides. It is totally chemical substances free, so it is nicer in contact with the skin.

Its spinning and its dye do not have toxic substances. It is recommendable to make your sewing pieces with the organic yarns, because it does not produce allergies or irritations and they also respect the animals and the environment.

You should know that Bio Lana by  Mondial...

• Each ball has 50 grams and 100 metres.
• Its thickness is perfect to knit with the 4.5 - 5.5 mm knitting needles or crochet hooks.
• Mount 15 stitches and do 20 laps to knit a 10 x 10 cm square.
• If you want to knit a pull size 10-year-old, you will need 300 - 350 grams, 6 balls.
• For a woman pull, size 42 you will need 400 - 450 grams, 8 balls.
• And to knit a man pull size 42, you need 12 balls, more or less 550 - 600 grams.
• We recommend you to wash it hand-wash to preserve all its qualities.
• You can iron it at low temperatures.
• Do not dry it in the dryer but horizontally.
• Certificate ICEA - GOTS - OKEO TEX STANDARD 100.
• Made in Italy.

Its certificates offer a high quality yarn, much more resistant than other yarns, and also it preserves its qualities.
